When I launched Davis Walker Designs, LLC my vision was simple…provide high-end, custom design services for clients at below market rates. I take pride in working on projects most other firms would steer away from because of scope or small budgets. I firmly believe affordable design does not need to sacrifice good design, regardless of the project.
Sustainability is at the core of all my designs. I strive to create spaces that improve the health and quality of living for my clients while decreasing the negative effects buildings can have on the world around us.
From the initial meeting to working out the final details prior to construction, I am with the client every step of the way, providing a transforming design at an affordable price.

I pledge to all my clients that we will work out a fair and affordable design budget for your project. My hourly rate is $70 with fixed - fee proposals developed on a project by project basis. I have a minimum design fee of $500.

From sketching a new concept on paper, refining designs on the computer, or just constructing something by hand in my shop, my interest in design is always present.
I honed my skills while earning my BA in Environmental Design from Montana State University School of Architecture and working for a Bozeman based architecture firm. After graduation, I wanted to further my understanding of how design becomes reality, so I pounded a hammer for a remodel construction company in Bozeman. When the owner retired, I moved back to Missoula for an apprentice carpenter job with a respected local design/build company. A wrist injury sidelined me from full-time hands-on construction but opened the door for new design opportunities.
With my life at an early crossroads, I launched Davis Walker Designs, LLC in July 2022. Since then, I have completed the design for a wide variety of projects, from small porch redesigns and basement remodels to full custom homes and major remodels. I look forward to sharing with you progress photos and final images as my work becomes reality.
In my free time, I enjoy disconnecting by getting outside where I foster my creativity with adventure. Growing up in Montana I developed a love for mountain biking, skiing, hunting and fly fishing. Some of my most creative ideas come to me while recreating outdoors. So, when I am not at my design table, you’ll likely find me outside.
